I Can See!!

Just a quick update. Lasik went wonderfully! I went in for my follow up appointment on Sunday morning and had 20/20 vision already. I don't see any of the halos that are common and I don't have dry eyes. Woo hoo! Now I just need to make it through the next few months without rubbing my eyes. That is probably the hardest part.

LASIK

I'm getting Lasik done on Saturday. I'm really excited, but also really nervous. The thought of having to watch while they do stuff to my eye totally freaks me out. But it's so worth it!! At this point I am legally blind without my contacts so this is going to make a HUGE difference! Please keep me in your thoughts Saturday. And probably Tim and Holden too since they are going to have a long stretch of time with no mommy to take care of them. LOL

Let's Play!

Today mommy finally set up the sand & water table Holden got from the Easter Bunny. (I was waiting for nice weather.) Holden had so much fun playing! He was having a ball with just the sand and as soon as I got the hose out and started adding water his eyes lit up! Needless to say he got very messy. He also did not want to come in when it was time. Here are a few pics. I'm sure we will have many more messy and fun afternoons with this one. Definitely an outside toy.

Colton

Yay! I pulled up my sister's blog today to see if there were any updates and as soon as Holden saw a picture of his cousin he said "Colton!" and pointed. It's the only name he has learned other than Mommy and Daddy. I'm so proud of him! And it also shows you just how much he loves his cousin, Colton.

Middle name? I don't have one. But at Girls Camp I made one up for myself and it kind of stuck. That one is Jo.

Big Boy

We've been working for the last few weeks on transitioning Holden to his big boy toddler bed. And last night he slept all night in his bed all by himself. Woo hoo!! I'm so proud of my little boy. He isn't really that little anymore. So it's sad for me as well.

Gym Time

Tim and I decided to join a gym. We signed up for three years at Gold's Gym last night. I'm really excited which I'm hoping is a good sign. We talked my friend Jamie into joining with us as well. So we got a killer deal. It also includes free babysitting for Holden. I figure if I'm paying for it that should be motivation to work out. So if you see me make sure I'm going to the gym!

Funny Daddy

This Video is from a few weeks ago, but it's one of my alltime favorites so I thought I would share it. Holden just could not stop laughing at Daddy! It was pretty cute. I have to say my favorite sound in the whole world is Holden laughing.

Rubber Gloves & Stool Samples

We took Holden to see his doctor today since he has continued to throw up and (joy of joys) we need to bring in a stool sample. Hopefully we get some results from the sample quickly and we can figure out what is going on with our little guy. For those of you that have never had to collect a stool sample from your child thank your lucky starts! This is the second one for us in Holden's 17 month life and it isn't pretty. It absolutely requires rubber gloves. So keep Holden in your thoughts and pray for speedy results.

Our Blog

We've decided that Totsites just isn't cutting it anymore. So we're going to join the blogging revolution. This way we can update everyone on Tim and I as well as Holden. The only drawback is that you don't get email updates. So you'll just have to keep checking back!

Sick Little Boy

Holden has been sick for what feels like forever! He started throwing up last Saturday and hasn't completely stopped since. He seemed to be feeling better the last day or two, but today we had another "incident". It's no fun for anyone involved! I'm so ready for my little guy to start feeling better.
