Brotherly Love

When I got pregnant I never had any doubt about how much Tim and I would love our new baby, but I worried a bit about Holden. I thought he was going to have a hard time going from being our only child to sharing us with his new brother. I wondered if some of his frustration would be taken out on Beckett. But I couldn't have been more wrong. The love Holden shows for Beckett amazes me. And Beckett loves him right back.

If Beckett is ever getting upset or fussy I just send Holden over to talk to him and he's all smiles. Beckett smiles and laughs for Holden more than anyone else. And Holden adores him. I'm so thankful for the brotherly love that is present in my home. Who knew I could love my child more just because of his love for his brother?

Backyard Fun

Just a few pics of some backyard fun so far this year. Both boys LOVE being outside so we spend a decent amount of time in the backyard. Now if it would just get a little cooler we could spend a little more time out there.

3 months and counting...

I can't believe Beckett is 3 months old already! Time just goes by so fast. We put him on our scale and it says he is 14 pounds!! I'm not sure that it's exactly accurate, but I'm sure it's close. So he is turning into a little chunk! Here are a few pics of our chunky monkey making some funny faces.

Cowboy Holden

Holden loves being a cowboy!! He wears his hat all the time and rides his broken horse (thanks Aunt Becky) everywhere around the house. His favorite thing to do (i.e. show off) when people come over is to be cowboy Holden. We also got him some "cow"boy boots the other day so he is in heaven! This video isn't great, but it makes me laugh anyway.
