Holden's Stats

Holden had his two year well child check on the 11th and is doing great! He is a growing, healthy little boy. I thought I'd post his stats so you can see how he's doing.

He weighs 33 pounds and is in the 93rd percentile in weight.

He is 35 1/2 inches tall and is in the 60th percentile in height.

And his head is 51 1/2 cm which puts him in the 96th percentile for head circumference.

We always knew he had a big head, but it's still funny to see just how big.

Holden being a Ham

Holden was being a huge ham for the camera. He loves for us to take pictures and after we take video he wants to watch it again and again.

(And please ignore our messy playroom.)

Happy Birthday Holden!!

It's hard to believe it's already been two years since I gave birth to my beautiful little boy. He is such a handful, but we are so thankful to have him in our lives. I just thought I'd post a few pics to show how much he's grown.

Playing in the Leaves

We have an insane amount of leaves in our front yard so we let Holden play in them yesterday. He obviously had a blast. Just wanted to share a few pics.

Trunk or Treat

We went to a Trunk or Treat on Saturday that was held by my mommies group (http://www.saltlakecitymommies.com) and West Jordan City. It was crazy, but lots of fun. Here are a few pics of him doing some fun things.

He loves getting his face painted. He sits very still and then tells you what is on his face for the rest of the day. It's pretty cute.

We also had a balloon hat made for him. We figured since he refused to wear his costume he could at least have something fun on. He wouldn't smile for the camera at all, but he still looks cute.

A Few of His Favorite Things

In honor of Holden's upcoming birthday I thought I would post some of his favorite things.

He loves every sort of ball right now. He likes to name which one it is (baseball, basketball, etc.). And he also likes to watch the sports with Daddy.

He is also very into cars & trucks. And right now is especially interested in fire trucks and police cars.

And anyone that knows Holden knows he loves Elmo. He is in heaven when he wears his Elmo slippers. He will be having an Elmo themed Birthday Party this year.




He is obsessed with trains and especially Thomas the Train and his friends right now. He always wants to watch it on tv and to play with trains at other people's houses (we don't have one yet). He loves to wear his Thomas shirt and pj's. The trains are by far his favorite thing right now.

He also loves playing outside. He would play on his bike or wagon forever if we let him. And I vow to never have a sandbox. He loves to get dirty and throw sand in his hair and all over the place. He always wants to play in his friend Landon's sand box when we go to his house.
