Good Things Utah!

For those of you who don't subscribe to Mamas on a Dime (shame on you!) I will be on Good Things Utah again this coming Thursday!

This will be my fifth time on the show (squee!) and I'm nervous and excited all over again. I have no desire to ever be famous in any way, shape, or form, but I do love the publicity this gets our blog.

So make sure to tune in. Or even better, come be in the audience! I love seeing a friendly face or two sitting on the super uncomfortable bleachers while I prepare for the show. :)

Easter Bunny!

I took the boys to see the Easter Bunny today. As you can tell from the picture above it was a roaring success!
Although this picture looks eerily similar to one we had taken around Christmas with a certain jolly old man.
I'm sure one day Beckett will appreciate strange characters dressed up in some odd outfit, but until that day comes we get hilarious pictures like this.

Happy Birthday Beckett!

Holy crap! Where in the world did my little baby go? He has grown into this amazing little boy!! I am amazed and frustrated by him every day. I can't imagine my life without this little hellion child.
Check out the life of Beckett in pictures below.

How stinkin' cute is he? Love this kid!!

My Sweet New Ride

Tim and I have been looking into getting a new car for me for a bit now. And Saturday we made things official! I am now the proud owner of a Ford Explorer. I love it so far! And I'm super stoked for the third row of seats. Now I can bring Holden's friends home from school, or start a carpool, or whatever I want.

And since Tim can't seem to say the word Explorer I have named her Rosie. Welcome to the family, Rosie!

Disney on Ice

Holden and I went to Disney on Ice on Thursday and had tons of fun! We go every time they are here since we are able to get free tickets and this time not only were Becky and her kids there, but Grandma and Grandpa got to come also. Holden was in heaven. He liked Toy Story the best and wished they would have been there for longer. But he was entranced for most of the show. Maybe next year we will attempt to bring Beckett.

Eating a giant tub of popcorn provided by Grandma & Grandpa. You think he was happy?

Snotty face Holden. Usually we get the snotty face or the super cheeser face for pictures. This time was snotty. But the face was too funny not to post.

Day 28: your hopes, dreams, plans for the next 365 days

I have so many hopes, dreams and plans for the next year! There is no way I can post them all here. But I will tell you a few.
I dream Mamas on a Dime will have great success and continue to grow. I will be thrilled if we can double the income from Bargain Divas last year and continue to grow our readership. I just love doing this.

I have zeroed in on something I desperately want for Tim and am working hard on getting it for him. He deserves so much! And that's about as detailed as I can be. Sorry.

Tim and I would love to go on vacation this year! Our goal is to use buddy passes from his wonderful sister, Chanda to take a couple of mini trips with just the two of us as well as a family vacation to California to visit my brother and sister in law. We will also be celebrating 10 years of marriage in October and want to plan something bigger for that. Hawaii? Europe? Boston? Who knows?

I will try to keep you updated on how these are going throughout the year, but we all know how great I am at my family blog. So don't hold your breath.

Day 27: a photo of someone you could never imagine your life without

This one is a no brainer.
I absolutely cannot imagine my life without these three wonderful men. They are what make me, me. All three of them annoy me, entertain me, teach me, and fill me with love. They are the light of my life and my whole world. I love Tim, Holden, and Beckett with all of my heart.
I mean really, when you look at their faces how can you not love them?

I also know that my family shaped me into being the person I am today. I wouldn't be blessed with those three wonderful men without the help of my Mom, Dad, and siblings: Becky, Kristen, and Aaron. I love you guys!
